Did you know that practicing mindfulness is a natural way to reduce stress levels and become more aware of your own body, mind, & spirit?
What is mindfulness?
Practicing mindfulness is when you focus on your body’s feelings and sensations in the present moment, without judgement or interpreting the meaning. While you are in this state of focus in the present moment, it is a form of meditation. During this form of meditation, you may practice breathing exercises. Other forms of practicing mindfulness can involve guided imagery, stretching, and yoga. (Mayo Clinic, 2020).
